Guide for your Day

Your Officiant and Photographer will guide you through the elopement planning process. There is no set recipe for this, as each couple has their own inspired ideas. We will make suggestions, give you the facts, and encourage you to follow your heart passions.

Photography: Each couple has an unspoken language they speak to each other through their body language. It may show up in the swing of her hips as her lover looks upon her, or the tilt of his head as he breathes close to her neck. It's the quiet parting of the lips as they think about a kiss. To capture this candid essence, I will invite a couple to close their eyes and breathe in the lightness of the breeze, the sun upon their neck, the light touch of their hands or his breath upon her cheek. I will lightly coach a couple into a heightened ability to feel their surroundings. Each couple will respond uniquely and express what comes natural or feels safe, be it playful, romantic, or adventurous.

Officiant: There are a few nuts & bolts to getting married in Arizona, which include purchasing a Marriage License, issued by an AZ County of your choice (good for one year). Your ordained officiant will sign your license, as well as two witnesses age 18 or over. Your officiant will record your marriage license stub within 30 days of your ceremony. If you would like to do a name change, you will need to order a certified copy of the recorded stub for the Social Security Administration or the AZ Dept. of Motor Vehicles. (Active Military may qualify for a free certified copy).
