How to get married at the Grand Canyon
After choosing your favorite season, you will want to check in with your favorite photographer to ensure what dates they have available for your wedding. We offer an all-inclusive elopement package that includes Bon Miller Photography, an Officiant and your bouquet & boutonniere. We guide you through the permit process as well as your AZ Marriage License … all which is very easy.
Once you decide on a date, we consult with you in regards to the details of that season and what you can expect. We help you with your permit application.
If you decide to have guests, lodging will be your next goal once you receive your approval notice on your preferred date. Lodging and dining is available at the Grand Canyon and the area of Tusayan, as well as 45 min. away in Williams, AZ, or a little farther is the city of Flagstaff, AZ. We can advise you once we know your plans and time of year.
Remember, the Grand Canyon is at high elevation of approximately 7000’. Winters will have snow closures, summers will have heat spells. February & March are the deep snow months and June is the hottest month. Monsoon season starts in July-August with occasional afternoon showers. Late spring and autumn are the best wedding months.
